Vacationing and Eating Out

My family is going to California in two weeks and I'm starting to get nervous about food because we are going with lots of family that can eat anything. I know Disneyland has a food allergy guide (but where do I get it?), and I know I am pretty safe with Mexican food and Chinese food. I've also had success with Olive Garden's new gluten free pasta. But, what else is there? Any ideas? Or any knowledge about places in the Anaheim, CA area where we can eat sans problems (dairy and gluten allergies)?

  1. Go to City Hall, right after you enter. I know there's an Outback and a PF Chang's nearby.

  3. On a non-food-related note:
Hit the kiddie rides first! They have the longest lines because they don't have fast passes. Get fast passes for big rides (Splash Mountain, Space Mountain) before you eat so you have something to do after you're done. Plan to eat a late lunch, 1:30, in a cool, dark restaurant. I like Blue Bayou, but call ahead for reservations. It's expensive but worth the break from the park hullabaloo.

  6. Holly, you can order any pasta dish and ask for their gluten free noodles. It's a gluten free penne. I can order the kids spaghetti for J and just ask for Gluten free. It's fabulous!
